If you are unable to attend a workshop or training session, your tuition will be reimbursed. No charges will be applied unless your workbook or textbook was mailed to you in advance. In that case, only the cost of the materials and mailing will be kept by the faculty, all other monies will be returned.

 

The faculty reserves the right to cancel any workshop or training session due to low enrollment,or for any other reason. In this case, your tuition will be returned in full or applied to another session date of your choice.

 

Your personal information, including, but not limited to name, address and camp affiliation are kept confidential by the faculty and are never sold, shared or traded with other providers. Registration information you provide is downloaded and erased from this site regularly. PayPal financial transactions are used for payment processing as they provide a secure and safe method for you to submit credit, debit, or banking information which is NOT shared with this site or the faculty. Your credit, debit and banking information security is maintained by PayPal and you are encouraged to review their service and privacy statements. If you prefer, cash or checks for payment may be brought with you to the course.

All information provided during educational workshops is provided with the expectation that participants will utilize clinical judgement and appropriate assessment skills when evaluating any clinical situation. Execution of clinical interventions and escalation of care to an appropriate level of provider is the personal responsibility of any individual undertaking a clinical role. The Camp Nurse Workshop, Wilderness First Aid, and CPR /AED courses are starting points for providers. Further education and training that an individual may need, is their responsibility to evaluate and secure as needed. Aspects of policy and procedure at your own camp should be discussed with camp directors and when available camp medical director and a lawyer.

 

Participation in any educational workshop and subsequent learning materials provided by the faculty - VJ Gibbins, is undertaken by participants at their own risk. Involvement in any clinical role at camp or other business requires a participant's full understanding of the laws and regulations that govern practice in that setting.
