About the faculty:

Camp Health Center is your online resource for all of your camp health - related training needs. Facilitated by VJ Gibbins RN BScN

VJ Gibbins is a Registered Nurse with over 14 years of camp health experience. He has presented numerous times at American Camp Association New England, Tri-States, and Mid-States regional conferences. He has been an active member of the Association of Camp Nurses, of which he is the current President and Chairman of the Board. He has presented at the national symposium many times.

New England Camp Nurse Workshops

2011 marks the 9th year for this dynamic and comprehensive workshop hosted at Camp Cedar in Casco, ME. Covering the set up and organization of your health center, planning for opening day, managing the health center including medication management, and caring for common camp-related injury and illness.

This all day workshop has been approved for 7.5 Contact Hours by the Maine American Nurses Association Continuing Education Approval Program Committee, an accredited approver American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission Accreditation.
